We started in 1901 with appoinments from the NC State Board of Health. Today's Board members are appointed by the Governor and the General Assembly.

Today's Board

NCBFS consists of Board Officers, Members, and Staff. The Board generally meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Meetings are open to the public and are streamed live to YouTube.
